School
Talks
Our first school talk took place on September 25th 2008 at the
Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra.
As part of their C.S.P.E subject, and with the help of their class
teacher Ms Riordan, the pupils have been studying animal rights
and were interested in learning more about the welfare of animals
and their responsibilities as pet owners.
Amanda Saunders-Perkins from Kerry Greyhound Connections (Pictured
on her own doing her talk) joined the talk along with Eleanor
Neff who has recently joined the Tigger Trust. 2 Greyhound rescues
were bought along by Amanda and we brought our faithful mascot,
Rudy and our newest member a ginger kitten.
The children were keen to ask and answer questions and we would
like to say we thoroughly enjoyed meeting them all.
Thanks so much for the card and choccies - they were yummy.
